How he works
The first consultation runs longer than a usual visit. A complaint that has lasted years is rarely explained by its diagnosis alone.
The history covers how the complaint began, what makes it better or worse, how you sleep, how you digest, what you can and cannot tolerate, and what runs in the family. Every report you bring is read, however old it is.

Nothing another doctor has prescribed is stopped here. Thyroid medication, inhalers, blood pressure and sugar medicines all continue exactly as prescribed. Any change to those is made by the doctor who prescribed them, not here.
What is not done here

- No treatment of emergencies. Chest pain, breathlessness, heavy bleeding or high fever in an infant goes to a hospital first.
